Cuisinart has recently introduced their new series of toaster ovens. There is a major difference with some of these models, for they are now offering the option of convection baking. Until recently this feature has never been available in toaster ovens and with this added feature, this puts a new level of flexibility for the people who use them.
Have you ever experience the joy of cooking with a convection oven? Restaurants have been using them for years, because they are far more efficient than a conventional oven. You are able to cook at a lower temperatures, the food is cooked evenly, and in less time because of the way a convection oven cooks in comparison to a conventional oven. You are able to lower the temperature you cook at by 25 degrees and food cooks in less time (about 25% faster). The convection oven also cooks more evenly, since in the convection oven there is a fan. This is what keeps the air circulating, thus eliminating hot spots which conventional ovens typically will have in the back of the oven. This difference in the temperature from the front of the oven to the back which is usually much hotter than the front (which is why you rotate a pie).
One of the models Cuisinart has, the TOB 195 has so many features (yes it will still toast bread), it is like having a second oven. This model has 4 versatile cooking options and is large enough to bake a 12 inch pizza. It has the broiler function, the toast function and the convection bake. Some of the other features included are the "exact heat TM sensor", the "total touch touchpad controls" and an auto shut off feature. Cuisinart has several models to choose from with a wide range of features, sizes and prices to meet any budget or need. All of the toaster ovens are equivalent to a microwave in sizes and prices so they are very affordable.
The one constant that Cuisinart has shown over the years is the high quality that goes into all their products. It does not matter if it is a lower end blender or toaster, it is made very well, it may not have all the gadgets and extras, but it is built to last. All of the toaster ovens come with a very good warranty which indicates how much confidence Cuisinart has in its products.
